Difficult to answer because there are so many Indian Sweets to choose from.
Is it kala jam or rasagulla ! No I think it is sohan papari or is it kaju katali ! There is the moti choor laddu and besan ka laddu is yummy too.
Hot jalabi, ras mallai, cham cham.
Gajjar ka halwa, kheer, phirini.
Kulfi ! Gajjak !! .... the list my dear is endless to pick a favourite.

Baked Kalakhand ,also called 'milk cake 'in our part of India,has a longer shelf life so is popular with those who want to send as gifts to friends & family living in other countries.
rasmalaih is my favorite, I do not know how to spell it correctly sorry about that. i had it just 3 hours ago.
rashgulla is my favorite it will taste good when it is cold or hot and even when it is sugarless.
Karachi Halwa is really good.
Kalakand and boondi ladu for me!
Besan laddoos, gulab jamun, kaju burfi, kesar pista ice cream and for apps: samosas, kebabs, pakoras...my dear they are ALL wonderful & delicious!!

In appetizers, I like onion pakoras (crispy fried), khaman dhokla, samosas....
