Like a lot of things sushi tends to be much better fresh from a place that specializes in it. do some research and see if you can find out where to get the best stuff and when you go there find out what fits your particuar tastes the best.

I really don't get it. The ones who hate sushi seem to be these big rugged manly man types. Yet, say, "Try this raw fish!" and they turn into quivering girls with high shrieking voices. Why Americans have the aversion to raw foods beats me. Well, more sushi and sashimi for the rest of us! Pass the maguro, partner!

because you only eat pizza, burger and fried chicken and you have no open mind for other culture and food or too ignorant to appreciate anything other than bar food.
Sushi is basically rice, with different things rolled up inside..
now, some people think it is only raw fish...that is only one type of sushi...that is sashimi sushi....sashimi is raw fish...
next time try either inari sushi which is a sweetened tofu cone filled with rice or my favorite a vegetable roll......please try it again.....my Hawaiian husband wants you to please try it again....without any raw fish......

Not everyone likes to eat raw meat. The only raw sushi I've had is the spicy scallop rolls, I wouldn't try anything else. I prefer the Tempura style much better.

I'm not big into the green leaf thing they use around it but the rice and veggies arent too bad. It does tend to lack a bit of flavor compared to other cuisines (chinese, indian, spanish, etc) tend to pack more stronger flavors. Unless wasabi is put into the picture lol
maybe for you taste buds it is, but i love sushi!..i will eat sushi everysingle day, i know for some people, they tend to oppose eating sushi because it contains raw seafood, but not all sushi are raw, why dont you try deep fried sushi, maybe you'll like it...

SUSHI REFERS TO THE RICE. THERE ARE SEVERAL KINDS OF SUSHI WITH NO RAW FISH AT ALL!!! GET OUT OF YOUR AMERICAN BOX AND LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT OTHER ETHNIC FOODS!!!
Why do typical normal grocery stores in this country sell bad quality fish that I can't even use for sushi?
