How about a tamale?

The Colombian bu?uelo is not sweet and is made with farmers cheese--usually served on Christmas. The Mexican bu?uelo is sweet and served with brown sugar, cinnamon, and guava.

The Colombian tamale is much bigger! The one I had was filled with egg, but wasn't scramble in--it was cooked inside and looked almost like when you fried an egg. I've never seen a Mexican tamale like that before. Other then that I would say they are similar.
