Question: It's a Greek dessert

Answers: It's a Greek dessert

Hope this helps! It sounds just as it is spelled.

gah-lahk-toh-BOO-reh-koh

Galaktoboureko

Galaktoboureko (γαλακτομπο?ρεκο 'milk burek') (Turkish: Sütlü B?rek)

Is a Greek and Turkish dessert of custard (sometimes flavored with lemon) in phyllo. It may be made in a pan, with phyllo layered on top and underneath, or rolled into individual 10cm long servings.

Unlike mille-feuille, which it otherwise resembles, the custard is baked with the pastry, not added afterwards.

It is served with a clear syrup or powdered sugar in place of the syrup.

In Turkish "Milf?y"
In Greek "milk burek" "B?rek"

hope this helps. good luck.

Ga-la- to- bou-re-ko. Delicious.

Just point at it on the menu or on the dessert platter.

you just have to sound it out. most Greek words are like that, they just look intimidating.
