Whats an original idea for packaging a particular food?!

Question: please help me!

Answers: please help me!

Before plastic came into being, I was told that take out cooked food tastes so much 'fresher' when wrapped in lotus leaves (fronds) - the Chinese food vendor use the leaves because they're inexpensive and practical. Today, certain Chinese dishes continue to be wrapped with the lotus leaf for steaming purpose - the leaf retains all the aroma and flavor of the ingredients within - nescessity is the mother of invention indeed!

FOIL

Banana skins!

Apple peel!

Origami!

ELASTIC! that would be cool!

Can you tell us what the food is? The packaging is going to depend on if it's moist, dry, perishable or preserved . . .
Either way - try to think of a packaging that is re-usable or has zero impact on the planet. The less packaging the better.

What amounts are you considering? Is it intended to be marketed as dry or labeled as 'fresh' [intended to stay moist, little or no preservative, and short shelf life]? Does it contain vegetable products or some type of filling which may affect the shelf life? Do you intend to market it locally or widely? Is it individually bulky or small and compact? Would being able to see it increase demographics? Is the finished product fairly durable or does it break easily and need a protective packaging? These would all influence your choice.

clear, thick plastic containers, orblike but with corrugations so it wont slip through your fingers, with a snap on cover, little holes on top so pasta won't spoil...much thinner than tupperware, thicker than takeout food containers...itl look more pricey, and itl show off all those yummy ingredients!...uhm i think im hungry, dinner time! lol
