What is this dessert?!

Question: A ukranian interpter at my work brought in this dessert. It looked kinda weird, like a grey lump but it tasted really good. It was made with sunflower seeds I was told. I am looking for a name of this. If it sounds familiar to anyone let me know. Our Iranian interpreter says that persian food has something similar if that helps.

I think it's Ukrainian halva (halvah, halwa, halwah...), it's common in Iran, India, Middle East.....

Sunflowers are the national flower of Ukraine, so their halwa has sunflower seeds.

It is probably a type of halvah. It is also made with sesame seeds in some places.
