What is the shelf life of Instant Sinigang Mix?!
Answers: I bought a bunch of Instant Sinigang Mix last year when I went to Philippines but I forgot to check for expiration dates. Now that I'm craving for sinigang, I'm afraid to use them because they don't have exp dates! argh! Anyone have an idea how long the shelf life is for powdered mix?
Usually it takes years for powdered flavoring to expire because it's dry, so there's lesser risk for bacteria to form. You will know if it's expired when you see that the powder hardens and it's clumped together. Happy cooking!
