Halal meat is killed according to Islamic rites. There is to be no blood consumed by the animal. They are slaughtered then bled to death. Also the animal is to be fed no hormones. Halal meat is to Muslims as Kosher is to Jews.

It's meat that passes Islamic standards for fitness. The animal must have been slaughtered properly, the meat cannot contain any blood, and of course cannot be pork.

It doesn't have anything to do with the food it's fed. Halal means that muslims are allowed to eat it, it's not a forbidden food. When it comes to meat, it is the way the animals are killed. Something about not allowing the animals to see the knives beforehand and hanging them upside down and slitting the throats.

Halal most frequently refers to food that is permissible according to Islamic law. Unfortunately I do not know how it is prepared or what the animals are fed with. Ask your butcher about that the next time you purchase

It's basically any food allowed by islam tradition, i.e not pork. I don't have a real recipe, but try a marinade like this//// sorry forgot the link http://www.malaysiangifts.citymax.com/ca...

halal meat is #1.blassed by moslem by saying with tha name of god #2 draen all the blood from the animal #3 killing useing a knife not gun or hot wire.

Halal meat is the meat of Herbivorous animals i.e. Cattle, Goat.Camel , Antelope, Deer etc which has been slaughtered according to Islamic teaching, not strangulated or beheaded . Eating the meat of carnivores and pigs, boars etc is Haram (prohibited) in Islam.

Take care my friend

In addition to what uncurablechocoholic said, the animal also must not be ill, injured, deformed, or otherwise unfit for slaughter according to Islamic law.

This is also why I prefer Halal meats, because it comes from healthy animals.

it's kosher - google kosher prep
