im not exactly sure why they are making mens pocky, but ive had it, and its delisious! if you like dark chocolate better, than this is the pocky for you, as is it coated in a dark bittersweet chocolate rather than milk chocolate. i suppose in this sexist world, they are implying that the bold bittersweetness of this pocky is manlier than the light milk chocolate variety that we are used to. bold men, light women.
i find that most women prefer dark chocolate over milk, and that men prefer milk chocolate. just sayin'.
is that that japanese food? i dont remember. if it is, i'd assume its a cultural thing...probably no difference.
I looked it up and it seems that Men's pocky has a "bittersweet mature taste", so yes they do taste different although pocky seems to come in various flavors. I've never had it or even seen it here in the Southeastern US.
