Lupini bean protein content?!

Question: i know for a fact that lupini beans are high in protein (2nd highest as far as beans go, #1 is soy beans). i have been searching on the internet to see how much protein is in a certain amount of lupini beans, but every site says something different. anyone know?

another question is when they say, for instance, 30g of protein for 1/2 a cup of beans, would they be talking dry or after being soaked in water?

thakns for any answers

This link says 37% protein, which is just a shade below the 40% accepted value for soybeans.

And to answer your other question, for beans, it's ALWAYS on a dry basis.
