There's a new restaurant that opened in my town that serves both Chinese and Japanese food. What's the...!

Question: difference between the two?

Answers: difference between the two?

Have you tried General Tso's chicken? It's my favorite. That, and sweet and sour chicken.

One comes from Japan. One comes from China.

They're two pretty separate cuisines. Japanese food often focuses on fresh seafood, rice and seaweed. There are other signature foods like edamame, teriyaki, tempura, udon and soba.

Chinese cuisine varies considerably from area to area. Cantonese cuisine is the closest to most 'American' Chinese cuisine. Cantonese cuisine uses lots of fresh veggies, especially green veggies like snow-pea tips or yu choi, seafood, stir-fries, dim sum, and for seasoning, garlic, ginger, green onions, and various sauces like black bean sauce or xo sauce.

Japanese food tends to have lighter sauces more like a marinade and is not breaded.
Try the Japanese food it might be more to your liking.
