Where can I find a recipe, in English, for a Russian "Count's Ruins" cake?!

Question: It looks like a mess but is delicious. It has layers of cake, merrange, custard, nuts, dates... My husband is Russian and speaks of this cake often but I can't find a recipe anywhere.
