Can you soak Thai sticky rice too long?!

Question: I know you're supposed to soak it for 2-10 hours, but I want to let it soak overnight for the next day. Has anyone let it soak for 12 or more hours and what was the results?

Its alright. It is okay to soak it overnight. Mmmmmmm, sticky rice......... AW, DAM! NOW I'M HUNGRY!

it is fine to soak it over night...

Sticky rice - or khao neow is a staple in Southeast Asia - it goes by names such as pulut in Malaysia and other names as well. The point of soaking them is to make sure they stick together, so, you can definitely let the rice soak overnight

I love Thai Stick rice, but i do not soak it too long.It can get soggy.

The longer you soak the rice, the shorter the cooking time. If you cook longer than the required time, you will end up with very soggy rice because of the longer soaking time.
