Asian duck egg question.?!


Question: I think most of you will not know what I am talking about.
It suppose to be duck eggs but it's dark in color and can be brought in Asian Market. What is the name of it & can you eat it raw?

It is called "CENTURY EGG" and yes, it can be eaten raw. You can also eat it with sliced young ginger or cook it with porridge (cubed and cooked with chicken/pork) or even add it to your vegetable soups.

If you're talking about the matured fetus eggs that would be balut. I' ve never eaten it but I saw it on national geographic a few weeks ago.

I don't know... even though I'm asian!

sounds like thousand year old egg, if it is then can be eaten raw.

its called duck egg and yes you can eat it just like that. but it goes great with porridge and this chinese veggie
