Does cream cheese freeze well?!

Question: The market has cream cheese on sale and I love making cheese cake, so I would like to stock up and freeze some for later. Will it thaw out in a state that can be used, or will it be ruined.

I freeze cream cheese in the box inside freezer bags upto 1 month....I make homemade cheese cakes. Just defrost in the microwave or thaw in refrig overnight to use to the next day. I personally have never had any problem.

yea.

yes

I personally would think it would be fine, to freeze. I may have done it in the past I can't remember. I don't think it would ruin it. I would stick it in a good freezer baggy.

sure does

i dunno, y dont u try it

You can freeze cream cheese but when you thaw it out it will have a different texture..sort of grainy..this shouldn't be a problem when using it for cheesecake.

sure
