New York, San Francisco, Boston, Paris, Rome

yeah, pretty much any industrialised nation would do it...

I think a city that has lots of restaurants would be the best place for a chef to live. What good is all the ingredients if you have no people to cook it for?

You could get those items almost anywhere. I would think you would want to go where there is hardly any competition if you are looking to make a name for yourself.

I think Provence France would be a great place to live for someone that likes using the finest fresh ingredients. They have an amazing variety of fresh foods available there. And, do you know, that's where black truffles come from?

Any large city I would think. New York, Boston, LA...it's all good! New Orleans would be fun too!

Naples, Italy

N.Y. City
