Does organic virgin coconut oil need to be refridgerated?!

Question: i was just wondering because on the container it says "store in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. refrigeration after opening is recommended". except when i put it in the fridge it goes solid and waxy and its really hard to use. will it go bad if i just keep it at room temp?
thanks in advance :)

You should refrigerate coconut oil after opening because you don't want it to go rancid. When you want to use it, just take it out and let it come to room temperature.

dont put it in the fridge:) it wont go bad if you keep it at room temp:)
