Does a banana have seeds?!

Question: Good question and Yes Bananas have vestigial seeds(non-productive), If you slice it in half you will see the little specks(seeds) in the middle.

Bananas do not grow from those seeds though, they grow from off-shoots of existing banana plant roots.

yes. slice it in half...the tiny little black things near the center are the seeds.

Yes. They are very tiny...if you look down the center...you'll see what looks like little speckles. Those are seeds.

Actually, bananas do have seeds. You can't really see them though. If you slice a banana and let it dry. (or just get those bags of dried fruit) the banana seeds will show up like a star, coming out of the core of the banana slice. They're really small though.

    Yes!!
See those little black specks in the middle?
    They're seeds!!

yes they do, its the harder black bits down the middle of the banana

    Yeah they do.
    Every fruit has seeds.
The banana seeds are very small and blackish-brown. They're located in the center of it. People don't seem to notice them because they just want to eat the fruit. But if you take a bite and look closely, you'll see little black specks in the center of the banana.

    YES, IT DOES.

Yes, near the middle,(little black specks), but they are soo tiny that you can't tell they are there.

Yes. They're very little and particularly visible when the banana is going bad...
