I really love peppermint ice cream. It makes me happy just thinking about it. Also i love lady finger cookies, ginger bread cookies and sugar cookies, home made apple pie with fresh vanilla ice cream. And to drink? I go for peppermint hot chocolate or a peppermint milk shake or egg nog. YUM!

Cream cheese and cherry tarts.. my auntie makes them every year... I could put down an entire tray myself!

Well my favorite is chocolate candy-canes. I made them myself, here is the recipe:

You will need:
2chocolate bars
2 packs of candy- canes
1 medium size pot
Parchment paper or wax paper
Plastic bag
Hammer
Flat pan
Stove
Belly

What you do:
First you put he pot on the stove, then put it on medium low. Then you take the two chocolate bars and break them up and put them in the pot. While the chocolate i melting you take the candy-canes and put them into a plastic bag. Then you take a hammer and gently tap on the candy-canes until they are fully crushed.(Be carefull the bag might get holes in it if you hit too hard). Then when your chocolate is fully melted you pour in the candy-canes and mix. Then turn the stove on low and have a flat pan with wax paper or parchment paper ready beside you. Then pour the chocolate mix into little shapes on the pan. Then you put the chocolate patties in the freezer for 30 minutes. Then enjoy!

Oh wow, so difficult to pick one.

I do remember my mother making a salad that she called, Snow Salad. It was delicous. I have that recipe somewhere. It had marshmallow's in it, white cherries, peaches, and may other fruits, as well as walnuts. She would beat whipping cream, and fold it in the salad. It was fabulous. It had many ingredients, mostly fruits. I had forgotten how much I missed it.
