Does adding flavoring to water make it not count towards the recommened servings of water a day?!

Question: I was thinking mainly of those Crystal Light packets or something similar. Do they make it so that they're not technically, "water?"

Mm, that sounded silly, but it's not what I meant. I know that it's still water, but not sure if they flavor/sugar makes it so that it doesn't count as a serving of water.

I only ask because I want to drink more water, but don't like the taste of water.

I'm thankful for any advice in advance, and my apologies for my ignorance. :)

Drinking water with Crystal Light in it is far better than not. It's not ideal because Crystal Light has artificial sweeteners. But, in my non-expert opinion, the benefits of the water outweigh the detriments of Crystal Light.

On msn today it showed a report saying that you don't actually have to increase the levels of water you drink - that you don't need to take 2 litres and that this is a misguided beauty 'expert' myth.

I don't think adding crystal lite changes anything. You're body doesn't have to work hard to separate the water from it.

Well it it water is your cristle light doen't have any suger or unhelthy ingredients.
