Is it just me.....?!
Ew. It' not like this is the first half gallon like it. I thought i was imagining it at first.....
Are they stirring in more soy by the day?
Answers: Or had Breyer's vanilla ice cream taken on a dirt-like taste in the background?

Is that they Breyer's with the little bean chips or whatever in it? I used to love that stuff but I haven't had any in a while. I was going to buy some Saturday but bought a cheaper brand instead. Now I'm glad I went cheap.
Well, i don't usually analyze the taste of Breyers Vanilla Ice Cream to make sure that it hasn't changed so i couldn't say one way or the other.
It sounds to me like you might be developing a lactose or carbohydrate tolerance issue.
Good luck
They could have changed thier vanilla flavoring to a different kind. Or you are eating sugar free ice cream.
If you mean those little black specs, they come from the vanilla beans used to flavour the ice cream. I used to think they were dirt too. The taste is OK in our area though. Maybe you got a bad tub? Call the Breyer people and complain. Quality control is important, so you'll be reimbursed. Ew is right!
just u
peace out
It might just be you.
I used to think that my milk tasted like fish whenever I had my period. If I asked him to taste it, because I thought it tasted funny to me, my husband used to say 'It tastes fine...you're just on your period!"
But if not, ask someone else to taste it. Maybe you could get a refund at the store where you bought it. It might be the vanilla beans they grind up and put in it. Try a different brand.
It is NOT 'just-you'..!!!! I have found that Breyers SUKS
lately, for some reason. (My whole family thinks-so..!)
i haven't bought breyers in a while...i usually get edys.
it's a shame if it's true and not just a bad batch...their vanilla was one of the few that i liked.
((cattie-brie))
Nah - I've thought that for a few years now, actually....Breyers just isn't what it used to be.
Breyer's has gotten really nasty lately, IMO. Of course, I've been living on Wells Blue Bunny ice cream for the past 12 years, so anything else is tasting like crap.
