Hi Zodiac man,
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK.
Glad you had a nice meal!

pretty much everything you said! but did you say mashed potatoes? i had those too :]

cornish hen (very moist) stuffed with dressing
mashed potatos and gravy
corn bread
green beans
buttery squash
cranberry sauce
homemade artichoke dip and chips
sweet potatoes baked with marshmallows on top
pumpkin pie
with sweet iced tea to drink
can't wait till Christmas!!!!!

We had T-day a week early because of schedules. But we had a huge turkey with lemon, garlic, and fresh sage and rosemary. And 2 different mashed potatoes, bacon gravy, 2 different stuffings, and hummus with parsley oil and pine nuts with bread cubes for an appetizer, and a pistachio pie. We barely got to the pie, we were too stuffed!

On the actual T-day we wanted pizza. There wasn't a single place open for delivery! I know it's a holiday, but the major chains weren't even open. I mean really, with all the football on, you'd think a place like Dominos would have pizza for people who were watching games, not having family get togethers, maybe away at college, etc... So we had leftover Swedish meatballs.

Turkey, chicken, ham, cornbread stuffing,green beans, sweet-potato casserole, cranberries, mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls,
Desserts- Walnut cake, pumpkin pie, possum pie (it is awesome!!!!), pumpkin roll.

We had:

Ham with Cherry Glaze
Sage Stuffing
Red Potatos -- roasted with the ham
Candied Yams (Supposed to be sweet potatos, but my daughter got the wrong kind)
Corn
Green Beans
Green Salad
Broccoli and Bacon Salad
and for dessert either
Apple or Cherry Pie with vanilla ice cream or
Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream

turkey, ham, deer roast, potatoes and gravy, corn, stuffing, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, cherry dump cake, ice cream, and rolls...and yams...and cranberries

Well I was shopping in the Us for black friday. Taking advantage of our dollar being high for a change. We looked and looked and looked for a place that wasnt booked for Thanksgiving dinner. We Canadians have thanksgiving in October but I did want to celebrate yours too. I am always thankful for food :-) So we finally ended up in this particular restaurant which was very suspiciously empty. Not a good sign at thanksgiving. We had mashed potatoes with gravy I am sure never touched the bird at all. I had some lumpy and whole sweet potatoes, I had stuffing that more then likely was a peppered up version of stove top stuffing, turkey was ok, cranberry sauce came out of a can, bread rolls were white and cold, all in all a meal only the very hungry and worm and desperate would enjoy. Oh the highlight of the entire meal, choclate cake which was fudgey and dark and rich more like a truffle. If i had of known I would have just eaten cake.

Wow, you had a great feast day!

We started off around 9:00 AM watching the Macy's parade and had a sweet roll and Straight Up Cafe Latte.

Later on we had an early dinner.
We don't care for the taste of turkey so we had roasted chicken;
stuffing with gravy;
sweet potatoes with brown sugar & cinnamon;
Stuffed eggs;
Black olives;
Cranberry sauce;
Mensemeat pie;
Ice tea.

Went to Golden Corral. Had turkey, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing, corn, broccoli, sweet potatoes, carrots, fried shrimp-popcorn and giant, pizza, ham, roast beef, corn bread, beans, roll and butter, hush puppies, onion & mushrooms grilled, macaroni & cheese, chili and pumpkin pie. A little of everything and it was so good not to cook and clean up. Sounds like you had a good one too.

What feast, Thanksgiving is my favorite meal day:
Turkey;
Turkey dressing;
Mashed potatoes;
Corn;
Sweet potatoes;
Good turkey gravy;
Salad;
Cranberry/orange relish;
Pickled peaches;
Homemade bread;
Pumpkin pie/apple pie with fresh cream.
Eggnog and wine with the meal and good strong coffee with
dessert.

Ham, Roast Chicken, sweet potatoe casserole, collards, green beans, potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, rolls, homemade macaroni and cheese, corn pudding, gravy, sweet potatoe pie, red velvet cake, banana pudding, and peach pie. *yummy*

Well excuse me for butting in my American cousins. Yahoo led me to this question. I'm amazed at the amount you all eat. No wonder you are all about 30 stone!
