A cheeseburger and seasoned fries. I know it neither gourmet or original, but it is something I always loved getting in a New York diner and it is a personal love!
Starter - Prawn and Smoked Salmon Terrine
Second - Consomme
Main -Tournedos with Blackcurrant croutons
Dessert - Creme Brulee
Followed by a freshly ground coffee and mints.
Or, if not readily available:
Fish and chips with mushy peas.
I feel hungry just thinking of Christmas Day.
Roast dinner with all the trimings and home made yorkshire puds with proper gravey!! Oh and caulliflour cheese.
