Grapenut Icecream is one of my favourites. According to the following, Grape Nuts is the Trade name for breakfast cereal made from wheat and malted barley, baked and shredded, invented by C. W. Post in 1897.

I don't know for sure but the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Grapes is asking us to boycott that stuff.

I have never heard of grapenut ice cream. I googled it and it appears to be the cereal "Grapenuts" (which have neither grapes nor nuts as an ingredient) swirled through vanilla ice cream
