So, which is healthier, a spring roll or an egg roll?!

Question: i had a spring roll tonight and the woman serving us explained what the difference is, but i don't know which is healthier... or is one healthier than the other?

thanks to everyone in advance, and remember sources help out tremendously

Spring Roll, because it usually has different ingredients. The ones I get usually have mushrooms, cabbage, and carrots, maybe a little bit of meat too. Egg-Rolls are just bean sprouts and meat. Boring!

Yeah that link was an advertisement. Spring Rolls can have anything they want really. The real difference is that real chinese people eat spring rolls so they usually make them better. I always say ask for the Chinese menu... Report It

  • Spring roll. It contains more vegetables.

I am a former chef and agree with the other 2 people and would add the outer shell or skin is thinner and less of a calorie blast, and as the other said spring rolls tend to be more veg, were egg rolls may have chicken, pork and veg, more bean sprouts were they use more cabbage in spring rolls

I think that they are almost the same, the difference is that egg roll has some meat in it.
