Can you use lemonade for pot noodles?!

Question: I′m in Iceland at the moment, and the water there smells a little like rotton eggs. This is because there are no natural water sources on the island, and all "fresh" water comes from underground where it has mixed with volcanic rocks which are sulphurous.
Anyway I don′t want to put it on my pot noodles, so can I use lemonade instead?
