Question: Hi- we're getting lobster for christmas, and don't know which would have more meat- a two pound lobster, or two one pound lobsters. So, once you subtract the shell, which option would have more weight in meat?

well if you get two 1 lb lobsters you will have 2 tails!!! The best part of the lobster!!

a 2 pounder. The one pounders will have mostly shell weight :)

Well if the lobster have large claw it is more heavier than regular maine lobster. If you like the claw meat then buy large lobster with extra meaty claw. if you like the tail part buy the 2 pounder.
