I know this too about the price of eggs. I had to pay $1.99 today too. maybe Chickens are on strike then I know around Easter they are always cheaper but you can't always wait until then .

I noticed that this week. I don't know why the price has shyrocketed the lately. Maybe the cost of gas? Hopefully someone will have a good explanation.

I would guess that they are on strike. A lot of things are getting high prices such as gas and some video games.
