Do patato chips keep longer in the fridge or on the shelf?!

Question: Unopened I have frozen bags before and they keep nicely for 3-6 months. After they are opened just close them tightly and keep in the cupboard.

Definitely on the shelf. The moisture in the frig would ruin them.
