My tea kettle stopped whistling?!

Question: I have a tea kettle that is about a year old. Stainless steel, and it used to whistle, lately it has stopped completely! Anyone know waht happend??

maybe there is some build up in the spout tyr a pipe cleane. If not maybe its time for a new pot
