If I have time, I like to do a crock pot stew ahead of time. I get the smallest chuck roast I can find and cut off about 3/8 of a pound and freeze the rest. Cube up the meat and put in the pot. Peel, slice, and dice a couple of medium potatoes, 2 carrots, and a medium onion and add to the pot. Add a can of Campbell's low sodium beef broth plus another cup of water. Salt and pepper to taste and cook it on the low setting for 8 to 10 hours.

If I don't have the time, I boil about 1/2 cup of elbow macaroni to al dente. Drain the water from the pan (leaving the macaroni) and add a can of my favorite canned chili (mine is Dennison's). Add a couple of ounces of Velveta or American cheese and heat. Plate up and enjoy the best chili mac you've ever had.

With either dish, I like a good glug of Tabasco.

My favorite comfort food is macaroni and cheese.
We seem to like cooked carrots with it and sometimes hotdogs that I slice up in the mac and cheese.

definately a pizza
