Why does homemade food always seem to taste better than even the best restaurant?!

Question: My Mother cooked last night, so I took my a plate of roast chicken, green beans and mashed potatos for lunch this morning and OH MY GOD. It wasn't like she slaved over it for a long time, but mmmm, it was just so good and I felt all warm and fuzzy. I was sad when it was gone. lol

Why don't you ever feel like that I don't feel like that when I go to restaurants -- even really nice, down-home ones with great service?

The people who cook their are actually professionals who probably know tons more than Mom about making great food.

Cuz mom's food's the best. My son tells me that all the time. He will eat restaurant food, but he will say in a minute, but your's is better mom. The secret is that we cater our food to our family's liking. They might like chunks of pickles in their potato salad rather than relish. They might like more vinegar in their BBQ sauce than what the restaurant puts in. So those extra ingredients or not adding a particular ingredient makes Mom' s food the best.

Because it is made with love:)

Restaurants don't take the time & use the best or have the love of MAMA!!! They are rush rush rush and cook in mass quantity.
No one cooks like mom!!

That's because homemade food is fresh and restaurant food is always pre packaged with artificial flavoring

because your mom loves you!she used love for cooking.
