Total myth...

If your body tells you to drink tobacco sauce then give it what it wants... The "Spicy" chemical in these foods does nothing to harm you or the baby... Well, other then cause some heartburn...

Eating peppers is the same as eating anything else you crave during pregnancy... Remember moderation...

You shouldn't eat a bussle of banana peppers just like you shouldn't eat a case of ice cream...

Your body knows what it needs and as long as your taking the pregnancy vitamins then you should be fine!

Congratz and good luck!

CALL THE OB.

This is so not true....such a myth....you migh get heartburn but it is not going to harm you or your baby....I have two kids and the second time around I craved spicy foods, too, and the Doctor can reassure you that it's fine as well.

no they are fine

tell mom there is no true to her tall tale

No, that's just an old wive's tale. If you can stand to eat spicy foods at this time, knock yourself out. Later on you might not be able to because the baby will be larger and pressing against your diaphram and it will make eating alot of foods that make you gassy, or spicy uncomfortable.
