Anyone know anything about cheese?!

Question: Specifically, I was wondering if you could post info on any 'local cheeses' produced in your area. Here in Michigan there is a small town named Pinconning, which is famous for cheese and one special aged colby named Pinconning Cheese for the town. It isn't very famous outside the area.

My questions is, anyone know any other UNIQUE cheeses from small towns?
