What is worse for u pasta or rice?!


Question: Whole grains are better for you. Staying away from pre packaged foods is always good. Being Italian (and in Italy) pasta is eaten every day with no ill effects. It's just done very simply, in moderation, with little sauce and lots of vegetables and olive oil.

white rice and pasta made from white flour are equally bad for you. Brown rice and whole grain pasta are both good for you (of course in moderation)

it depends on the amount. Mostly pasta though because it has a higher glycemic index!

Both are OK in small portions.
Average size portion is four ounces.
Frankly, I've never had just four ounces of anything.

I was pretty much raised on both of those. So long as you dont put a CRAP load of soy sauce or butter or anything like that its fine. And so long as you get up and walk every once in a while lol. I like hiking. Nothin is better than a rice cake on a nice hike^^ hope i helped^^
