Is coconut juice suppose to be clear?!
Answers: I thought they were white juice inside or is that coconut milk? I'm confused...lol help
Dont listen to these fools! I have cooked in restaurants all my life, bought countless brands of coconut juice and spent two weeks sleeping on a beach in costa rica drinking juice from fresh coconuts. The juice itself is clear, when you buy coconute milk in the store, it contains the meat from the coconut, which makes it white. Most canned coconut juice is clear and sweetened and often contains bits of coconut flesh that float in the liquid which are normal.
its supposed to look like milk. that color. hope this helps!!

its kinda cloudy looking
some are milky and others clear i dont know what the difference is i think it gets milky when you chop the coconut in the shell with the clear juice
Coconut water is clear. Coconut milk is solid white like the crayon color.
Check the expiration date on your coconut "juice" and shake it up. Sometimes the coconut bits separated from the water in the canister causing you to just see the water portion.
Smell it too.
Yes of course it is but its also sometimes a white its an all natural water so it has to be if its another color then no its not coconout milk.
Coconut "juice" (actually called coconut water) is clear in young coconuts and gets whiter as the coconut matures. As the "meat" hardens (it is very soft in a young coconut) the milk whitens.

are you sure that's a coconut you're looking inside of or is it some other hairy nut? making a mistake like that could be costly!
Depending upon what part of the world the coconut came from will depend on the color of juice or milk. In some parts it's clear and the natives of that part consider it to be juice, in other parts of the world the liquid inside is opaque and resembles milk that's why theres some confusion.
Sort of foggy here we buy the whole coco nut that is good for out doors.. you by the milk in bottles in the grocery store
read the label PURE.. NO SUGAR ADDED///
in the DRINK fridges coco rico..!!
yes it's clear. not to be confused with coconut milk.

If you're talking about the juice that you're supposed to drain out before opening the coconut, then YES it's supposed to be clear and NO it's not coconut milk (and I wouldn't advise you to drink it). To make coconut milk, you have to use the actual inside of the coconut. Here's a recipe for it: http://www.globalgourmet.com/destination...
A fresh coconut fruit contains white fleshy jelly with white clear juice inside. The skin is green in colour. When the skin turns brown in colour, the white fleshy jelly turns hard. That part, when we blend it, will produce a coconut milk.
