What does it take to find a corn dog in England?!
Corn dogs are not an indiginous English dish. I've tried to find one in a so-called American Fair but they didn't have any.
Wait long enough and I suppose they'll eventually cross the Atlantic. Most things do. McDonald's will probably be the first to sell them - at a price that would horrify a Yank.
Answers: It'll take a miracle.

you can get a battered sausage which is the closest thing, (doesn't have the cornbread batter but a different kind)
but you can't get corn dogs.

One of my friends suggested opening an American restaurant in UK and I had thought he was intending to serve such things, but it turns out that he had more upscale cuisine in mind.
If I remember correctly though, corndogs are just a hotdog on a stick that have been dipped in batter. It doesn't sound all that difficult to make.
Make your own!
A supermarket by me used to sell them but I haven't seen one in years
Hi I have only ever had them once here and I got them from a place that sells cheap frozen food lol, I have never seen then in any of the well known super markets.
Have you tried looking online at the american sights that do stuff to be sent over here, they might have corn dogs if you search for them, they might cost a bit and there is delivery but then you have got your corn dog.
I found them sickly as its like doughnut batter on a sausage lol
a what????? lol
maybe they have corn dogs, but refer to them as another name. they speak a diffrent dialect of english than the american english.
Sorry no results. But I did find a recipe on Google, they sound good. We have most fast food outlets in England so I wouldn't be surprised if we get one for Corn Dogs etc.
