Ok, so admittedly I don't know of a specific website that would have that info. I am quite a foodie. Here's my list:
Texas: Rio Grande Burger @ "Whataburger" restaurant chain- All beef patty with strips of green chile on top.
California: The famous "Carl's Jr. Star" burger. This little guy used to be top of the line when that chain opened up. As is the "In/Out Burger.
New Jersey: The famous "White Castle" burger. They put little "slyder" style burgers on the map. Each burger is all the same...a 4 inch square bun, with cheese, all beef patty & minced onions. They serve them to go nestled in their little white cardboard holder with the White Castle logo on it.
Anyways, here's a link to an interesting article on the subject:

Here's a link to a burger restaurant I ate at in Las Vegas. They had the strangest combination of burgers. I had a burger with brie cheese, avacado and spicy mustard. Here's the website..... http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/paris-las...
There is a link on that website to their menu, it says, "view set menu" on the left bottom part of the website.
Go to your search box. Type in and click on "recipes". Then search on hamburgers. You will get all kinds of recipes including ethnic. I bet there is a McDonalds in India where cows are sacred and must not be harmed or eaten. There are meatless hamburgers. I am sure there are tofu hamburgers.
Enjoy!
well as anticipated down in here in south La. we have the Cajun burger types.
cajun food tends to weigh on the spicey side so the burger is spiced with hot spices, then topped off with jalenpos to increase the heat. some restaurants include bacon, crawfish, shrimp. no particular set pattern.

Well, here in the little town in Northern Arizona that I live in, most everybody likes to hunt and fish. Last night I made the local favorite Elk Burgers. We were lucky enough to draw two tags in our family last year so we have a freezer full of Wapiti. We butcher them ourselves and grind our own "elkburger". It's very lean meat so it's a little tricky to cook sometimes. Here's my recipe:
2 lbs of elkburger
1/2 pound of cooked bacon broken into bits, (save the drippings)
2 cans diced green chiles
1 onion, diced
2 fresh garlic cloves, diced
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 cup A-1 sauce
2 Tbsp. Worchestershire Sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheeze
2 eggs
Just put all this in a bowl (including the bacon drippings) and mix it up with your hands and make patties. Throw them on the grill and serve them up hot on onion rolls with avacado and salsa. Best burger there is.
Elk is delicious, lean, as organic as you can get, and did I say delicious????
