Are chicken legs/wings unhealthy?!
Answers: I read everywhere that chicken breasts are healthy, but I hate the taste of the breasts, why are the legs wings or thighs not as healthy?
Chicken breasts (without skin) have the lowest fat content of the chicken. Being "white" meat they don't have some of the other chemicals that gather in "dark" meat.
Healthy is relative. If you deep fry chicken breasts with the skin on then they're less healthy than you're average hamburger. Also eating 10 chicken breasts even without deep frying or skin on at every meal likely will increase your weight dramatically and you're not being "healthy".
The main idea in your diet is to eat balanced meals with proper proportions (see U.S. Food Pyramid). For "health" you should also exercise at least 3 times a week.
Depends how they are prepared!
It depends on how you prepare them. If you fry them, they aren't good for you but you can roast them or bake them. The legs are a little more fatty than the breasts but it is still healthy.
not always it depends if they are cooked in like alot of grease or if they have an unhealthy dipping sauce. Try using like low fat ranch for dipping or any low fat kinds. Just ask how they are cooked and what they were cooked in.
The skin of the chicken is very high in fat content. Skinned breasts are the healthiest.
They have more fat, but they have more protein too. They also have more vitamins like iron, zinc, riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, vitamins B6 and B12.
If you're worried about fat, cut down on it in another area. But I wouldn't worry about it.

There is more fat in dark meat than white meat.
fat content of a thigh is in the same ball park as hamburger.
That's why you need to be careful of ground turkey. If it's not made from breast, fat wise, you may eat hamburger.

They are just higher in calorie content. I hate white meat. So I just stick to the legs/thighs & wings. I try not to fry them or to eat the skin..... but most times I do eat the skin. Oh well..........
well they are actually but it depends on how u cook them, and i believe baked chicken is the most healthiest so if they where baked and not fried or barbecued they are pretty healthy or at least healthier

Chicken is darn near a basic staple in the food chain and pyramid. IT has been the easiest animal to raise and the eggs are another plus..
People who have phobias about fat and calories should look inside themselves... Thousands of years the chicken has been mans truly staple food.
Only people are healthy or unhealthy ..
