Why is the corn flakes mascot a big c.ock? whats that got to do with corn?!

Question: Because they crow in the morning, which is when you are expected to eat them.

The more interesting question is why, having put sugar all over them, does the mascot become a tiger? Or why plain puffed wheat was "shot from cannons" but sugar-coated puffed wheat has a frog?

It almost makes me think the marketing of cereals is not a logical, rational system! Gadzooks!
