Well yea, if you put salt in soda best ones are pepsi,Dr. pepper, and Coke,Works with both diet and Non-diet, but it wont explode as huge as mentos but I haven't tried it with ALOT of it
also my science teacher said to try pennies o.O i never tried that but who knows maybe you can make explosion

get a bottle of coke and a tube of mentos and put them in the coke and sake it up then run away btw dont mix them in your mouth a little boy died from doing that
