iv never tryed it either,,,

send me some pls

never heard of any of them.....hello D.

My guess would be the basic different between a butter (which is a spreadable product) and a sauce (which is more of a liquid)...although the recipies may vary widely also, depending on the use of each product.

Try doing some search for each online and see what you find.

apart from the obvious...the sauce is more runny whereas the butter is put on as a knob and melts

A sauce would be used to pour over food, where as a butter is spread on food. The answer is in the question.

brandy butter's yello and hard, brandy sauce is white (served hot) and runny.
for christmas pud.

Brandy butter is made by creaming butter and sugar together and then adding brandy. Brandy sauce is a brandy flavoured sweet white sauce. (Butter, cornflour and milk - a Bechamel sauce without salt, but you add brandy and sugar to it.)
