Answers: Olive oil or tomato sauce,Which do you prefer.?
Ah what the hell just to be different - olive!
Tomatoe sauce.....
tomato sauce
olive oil and some herbs
Olive oil! They're easier to prepare that way.
Olive oil.
Yummy they were nice. Id go for tomato.
Battered and deep-fried in my opinion. If i had to choose the tomato would be best
tomato sauce work great for us.
tomato sauce
I prefer the ones in soya oil. Failing that, spring water.
Mustard sauce.:)
mmh olive oil, my kids love the boney bits best and they are full of calcium too. fab mashed on toast with a splash of vinegar.
I've only had them in Tomato sauce, have yet to try one with Olive oil. I usually prepare them with some garlic and Serrano chili's for some heat and parsley for garnish.
In oil,of course! I like to put mustard on mine and eat them with Ritz crackers.
Tomato sauce. I never even knew they made it with olive oil. I will have a look for that next time I am doing the food shop.
Thanks
Tomato sauce for taste. But oil is better if you are going to use them in other dishes......
Oil, more versatile.
I generally prefer fish to be packed in spring water nowadays, as it dosn't ad any more oil to the fish and drains easily.
Alternatively, olive oil, then tomato (best for pilchards), then veggie oil.
