NO THATS NOT TRUE,POWERED SUGAR IS PROCESSED NOT GRINDED

no powdered sugar also has some cornstarch in it

Yes

Some commercial brands have cornstarch and some do not. But your self ground product will be fine

It's pretty much the same thing. Real powdered sugar probably has a few more preservatives and chemical agents to keep it from clumping, but it is basically finely ground sugar.

Powdered sugar is VERY finely grinded sugar. Probably hard to do at home...and seems messy! =)

YES! it really does! its quite amazing..give it a try..

Yes, its the same. But not worth all that mess or trouble. The best way to do it is probably in a blender because you can close the lid.

no. What a totally ridiculous question to ask. Who would ask such a totally ridiculous question?

there is 5 types of common sugars available for retail consumers raw ,a1 , caster, brown ,icing .I'm presuming that in America that the sugars are the same just different names so to hazard a guess powdered sugar could be form of caster so if it is yes it can be ground. just for;- each type of sugar has sub groups

I don't really know what you mean by "real", but I do know that it does come out 99.9% the same as regular powdered sugar. All you have to do is put it into a spice grinder until it is a fine powder. It will also save you a lot of $$$.
