What's the difference between a hoggie and sub?!

Question: Nothing. It just depends on where you're from. Hogies, Heros, Subs, Torpedoes...all the same.

A hoggie is made into pork and ham. You could have a sub with hoggies on it.

If it's on a long Italian roll it's a hoagie. Hot, it's a grinder. A hero is served on a round roll or pita.

We'd understand submarine, though it's not the preferred terminology. Those are those mediocre sandwiches they sell at Subway.

The names!
