Question: how to get rid of burning

Answers: how to get rid of burning

Don't use water, it spreads. Acid tends to work, try some lime/lemon juice or tomato juice. Some people claim milk helps, but I've never found it particularly helpful.

WATER

put cream or chap stick on your lips.

I know this is weird but MILK!..ITS GONNA BE NASTY BUT IT HELPS

Drink something with lime...like a Margarita

milk.

drink milk

put ice or drink orange juice

Whole vitamin D milk works the best. Not skim.

drink water. stop eating the hot sauce!

MILK...just hold your lips in the cold milk. It will stop burning.

drink milk, sure thang

Milk!!!!!! Works wonders, the whole milk is better but if you have the others its still a method of working.

ice

eat bread! quick!

sugar will do the job .

Sugar or salt or an ice cream cone - hurry!

EVERYONE WHO SAID MILK IS RIGHT. WATER WILL MAKE IT WORSE.

They are chapped and sensitive. Try using chapstick either constantly to heal the lips, or directly before eating. Drinking milk before the hot sauce may also help.

drink water, and put vaseline on your lips.

eat ice cream or anything cold

it takes time.and yes water and ice makes it worse..it only realives the burn feeling for like 2 seconds. And dont eat too much hot sauce!!!!

milk or bread... water makes it worse

MILK!! works awesome!

Capsasin the hot in peppers is soluble in fat. Yogurt or Milk will absorb the hot relatively quickly, don't waste any time on water or alcohol!

Whole milk will work.... water will just soak up easy and not help for that long...

Put ice cube on your lips and then eat something sweet

The hot part of peppers is an oil. Water doesn't take care of it. Eat bread or drink milk.

milk or bread

milk or beer, maybe salt or baking soda, even pickle juice with bread

OMG, just let it go. Don't apply anything.
