Put a little bowl full of vinegar with an added drop of dishwashing liquid....near the fruit flies...they will be attracted to the scent and land in the bowl...you'll get rid of them in no time. I've done this many times and it works like a charm. Then, clean your sink drains (where they usually come from) with a little bleach and hot water...done.
