Sugar, salt, dried beans and grains. All of which must be kept dry.

I believe that all of the above have been found in pyramids - and all still usable.

honey certainly can go bad. It lasts a long time, but it can ferment. that is where mead comes from.

other foods that last a very long time: soy sauce, fish sauce, peanut butter, salt, kim chee, vinegar

I would think dried items, such as rice and beans, will never go bad as long as they remain in the dried state.

I think honey is the only food that never goes bad. Maybe pure maple syrup, but I'm not sure.

Cool Whip is made out of so many synthetic oils and plastics that it has an infinate shelf life.
