Is MARMITE good for you, bad for you or indifferent for you? and dont tell me that you hate it, not interested!

Question: Very good in moderation. It has more Iron than the average Sheffield Steel Mill. It gives your body a good dose of the old B12 (I used to think that was a plane as a kid!). njoy!

very good- its packed with iron

marmite is actually very good for u

Its bad for me because i hate it................

It is lovely, it has lots of zinc in it too :-)
Check out the link, it's quite a funny idea.

VILE!!!

it has good vitamins

mmmmmmm marmite is my favorite. It got to be good for ya.

good, its goot vitamin b in it i think, and its yum ! xxxxxxxxxxxx

Very good in moderation. Plenty of vitamin B12 and iron. Although it is a little high in salt.

Good for hangovers too.

It has sufficient vitamins that if a glass of Mar mite and water is drunk each day it will stop pimples or acne forming~~

I HATE IT.

Marmite has useful quantities of vitamins, even in small servings. Sodium (salt) content of the spread is high and has caused concern, but the amount per serving, not the percentage in bulk Marmite, is the significant factor.

for nutritional info and other stuff...

It's probably very good for you as it's made from yeast which is very high in B vitamins. Great for the nervous system!

Its very good for you.Uness, you mix it with butter and spread on sarnies like i do-thats not so good, but tastes yum!

You do know what they say about Marmite...

Either you love it
or hate it

Its good for you....it contains Vitamin B12 (good for the blood!)...Mmmm I love it!

It's got plenty of B vitamins, but there are more palatable ways of getting these. However, I'm one of those who love Marmite. There's only one way to take Marmite, and that's on toast, with butter, melted in. Marge or other 'spreads' won't do. It has to be butter. The Marmite has to be spread thinly, seriously thinly, and not like peanut butter. Eat straight away, don't wait for the toast to cool or get soft or soggy. Once you acquire the taste, it's addictive. And no, Vegemite is not in the same league.

VERY good source of B vitamin. If you think it with water its an emergency stopgap if you run out of soy source.

I would imagine it is good for you given what it is made from however, I've never had it....it isn't really something most Canadian's eat much of, although someone is eating it since it is sold in grocery stores here.

bit of both, its got iron and vits but its also packed with salt.

Marmite is good for you and very versatile. It is high in iron and the B vitamins. It can be used not just for spreading (thinlly) on toast, but for flavouring casseroles, gravies, sauces etc. My pastor likes it smeared over his roast. The only down side I can see is that it is very salty!

it gives me mum thrush but she still eats it as she loves it i lve it to wakes up me taste buds in the morining x

its good for you especially if youre pregnant, rich in folic acid.
