I have a couple of Italian friends. Both serve the same way. After the pasta is cooked, they put it in a saute pan with a little olive oil and a little of the sauce. The pasta is tossed to lightly coat. It is served separately from the sauce so each can dish to their preference. Some like it swimming in sauce, others like just a light coating.

i serve it with noodles on bottom bolognese sauce on top. i make an amazing spag bol. i have a secret ingredient that i use that im not going to tell anyone! :)

I serve the noodles with the sauce on top sprinkled with grated Mozzarella, Parmesan and Romano cheeses

I like the sauce mixed with the pasta. Sometimes, I like serving it with meatballs, french bread, and salad. I like mushrooms in my sauce, and adding lots of Parmesan cheese.

I like to serve mine with the noodles separate and let the person individually add the sauce to the noodles. Different people like different amounts of sauce. My in-laws serve it mixed and it does not taste the same.

I am hungry now....I make my noodles separated.
I cook some chicken with onions and tomato sauce, add green olives and tomato paste. After all that is cooked , I mixed them with the noodles and sprinkle some cheese on it..
Mmmmm delicioso....

With just my husband and I, we mix the sauce and noodles together. We usually cook the pasta until it's not quite al dente, but close, then let mix it in the sauce and heat them together on low. This finishes cooking the pasta right in the sauce and gives it a really good flavor.

In some other country;yes they served it mixed so sometimes i did also. The reason i served it mixed is inorder to mixed all the ingredients well.I put some green shells and some decorations on the top.

I boil noodles for at least 7 mins. I break them in half first. I brown hamburger meat, and some ground pork, and drain the fat. Then I mix the meat with some onions, Ragu traditional style and mushrooms. I eventually combine the noodles with the meat. Then on my own personal plate, I put some cottage cheese on top. Black pepper and garlic powder on my own plate as well.

I use garlic, red and green bell peppers, onions, carrots, ground beef, and some pasta sauce. It's way healthier than most spaghetti and has a great flavor.

I serve it with noodles on the bottom and pour the sauce over the top. I let the consumers mix their noodles (if they want to).

I was taught to mix it all together, but I don't do that now. Some one called me a hillbilly once for mixing it together, but my family is not from the south. I do live in the south now.
